Summer Project

OK So, we are all just waiting for our new baby.  (Nieto). . .  ♡

I already have a very special gift for him and his two brothers!

Ha ha  I could not resist the title on this book!

So, what else is there to do?

Hmmm

Well, I have some fabric

And, two old chairs that need some help. . . 

 And, so our 4 day project begins.

Yes, "our" because I needed Russ' help with this project.

The "De-Construction

 Yes, there were thousands of staples 

to be removed (thousands no joking)

Marking all the important points

Making the pattern pieces 

and adding notes

Cutting the new fabric

and marking it

Then, Re-Construction
And, before the week was done,
they were finished.

Well, there was my little project to help pass the time.

I think I will clean my house

MY SUMMER 2014

After Friday, June 27th, my "Off the Beach" studio 

will be open "by appointment only" for the summer.

This year my "summer" will extend to October 17th. 

Why?  You may ask. . .

Well, on October 4th, our daughter is getting married! 

Our only daughter . . . so this is super exciting!   "Whoo-hoo!"

(And I am discovering  what "Trash the Dress" or "Rock the Frock" 

means! . . . The things I never knew I never knew!)   

And, we are hosting a Grand Copper Canyon Travel Adventure 

during the first part of October.  

So, the studio will re-open on Friday, October 17th 

and continue open each Friday afternoon through June of 2015. 

We will have our final Mermaid's Market of the season on 

Saturday, July 5th  indoors - at the Lobby of the Sonoran Spa. 

The public is Welcome to this event! 

  

Of course, we will also have a Mermaid's Market on 

Labor Day Weekend - the Market will be held once again 

inside at the Sonoran Spa Lobby on Saturday, August 30th 

(Labor Day is Monday, September 1st, 2014)

Then the normal outdoor Mermaids Market 

will be scheduled to resume in the early fall.
